I am excited to start 2025 with renewed enthusiasm as our area witnesses a strong wind of positive change. This year, I will continue my mission to provide our valued patients ethical, evidence-based, customized and safe solutions, with a focus on restoring healthy skin, hair and treating cancer. Of course, I could not do it without the teams of talented colleagues who add major value and help make Skin Experts Polyclinic in Dubai, The Skin Clinic and The Hair Clinic in Beirut the reference of trusted and expert patient care.
I will continue to break new grounds and bring in new technologies of laser and energy-based devices to enhance our work, particularly targeted at improving outcomes in skin rejuvenation and tightening, acne care, hair restoration, skin cancer, plastic surgery and dentistry.
As a group we will continue to educate and share our collective experience on best practices on our social media and at scientific conferences, will soon introduce a podcast for in-depth information, and will publish some of our unique work in leading scientific journals.
Importantly, I will continue to debunk misinformation and raise awareness on what’s best for our patients, and what is not, as our field is driven to commercialism and reduced standards by the increasing numbers of copycats, ‘trends’ and greed. Cosmetic Dermatology and Surgery are Medicine not a trade. Medicine is science that should be applied with art and heart. The most cherished compliment I ever received from a patient is this: ‘Dr, you’re not only an artist but you work with honor’. And that summarizes what I will always stand for.
Finally, I am looking forward to seeing each one of our loyal patients and making new ones, and for the beautiful natural-looking transformations that stand the test of time, and that are our signature.
